Thanks again! Your tips and input have made my first week of DE shaving a very pleasant experience. I'm sure my learning curve would have been much steeper with much less success without your help! I really appreciate it!

That is a huge part of what the site is about. We're happy to help.

By the way, that is one snazzy shave. Happy2

Posting Freak
Hi bgremill, welcome to the forum and the world of traditional wet shaving. I was going to refer you to a post by another member recently entitled "Am I Crazy" but I couldn't find it. He was asking the membership if his experience since being bitten by the wet shaving bug was in line with that of others. Specifically he wondered if having spent more or less $1,000. on shaving related necessities, in August was normal or was he indeed crazy. Responses ranged from sympathy, to qualified, "depends on how you define crazy", to whatever floats your boat as long as you and your family aren't going without the necessities of life.

This is the point where I cue the maniacal laughter! Have fun and shave well.

Likewise and I agree with Freddy- smooth looking shave! Look forward to hearing more as you continue on your journey.
