Italian Barber is selling the TFS Hercules soap for $5.99 ! That's a great deal on a great soap. I have most of the TFS special editions including Hercules and they're great performers and great smelters too.

It sure is both a great soap and a great deal! I have a lot of TFS soaps and a few of their aftershaves, they make quality products which i always count among my favorites.

The only one I am not totally fond of is the Uncle Walter soap (more like a cream or VERY soft soap), it performs very well, but the scent to me smells like a high quality Arko. Think an upscale urinal puck scent. Yes, I'm exaggerating a bit, but it's the only way I can think of describing it.

Hi nffclsr thats funny - YMMV I suppose. I have Uncle Walter and I like it. I'm going to start sniffing those urinal pucks a little closer Smile I wonder how they lather? I don't have Farink or the wizard one but if they ever come down to $4.99 I would buy them in a heartbeat. I think they are great performers and have a very subtle, complex scent to them (other than urinal puck).

That $4.99 was a deal of the day so its back up to $11.99 which is still a good deal for that soap.

Agreed. I picked this up after your endorsement and very much like it- the mix of licorice and lilac may seem an odd one but it really works!

If you like Uncle Walter and Hercules, you should really try both of the TFS 70th anniversary soaps and aftershaves. They are both top notch for the price.

I have all of them and I really like them. Notice that they have different formulations, so you might notice some small differences: Hercules contains jojoba oil, the two 70th anniversay soaps have argan oil, while Uncle Walter has juniper fruit oil. All these oils are good for the skin and improve the quality of the shaving!
