Masamura and titanium Taiga showed up today. Masamura is up tomorrow. Used my 2020 Sailor yesterday. Here is a pic of all of my Adjustables. I sold my Rex a few weeks ago. Tatara and titanium Taiga are the first and second right now because I have not used them yet, then you have the 2020 and 2019 Sailor and last in line is the original stainless Taiga which I just use the OC plate in it now. The black titanium coated B&R Adjustable is in the back row right now.

Shavemd So why is the spring a problem?
They come in a packet of 10 for about $10. You will lose them before they lose any tension.

Clouds From posts on another forum there is supposedly issues with the Pearl and questions were raised about the spring. Also on the same forum questions were raised about the size of the spring on the Taiga. I have experienced no issues but it does make me think about it. Where can you aorser these springs and what size?

Tatara would be smart to release an XL version of this razor. Longer and thicker handle and larger gaps. This one feels like a little toy in my hands after using the Sailor. Oh well, we shall see.

Firstly - I don't have the Taiga V2 and I also haven't dismantled my Rex or Pearl , so keep that in mind.
In that thread I give a link to someone selling springs that will work. Those springs fit the Gibbs and all the "homages" Taiga and Yaqi included.
They also talk about increasing the wire diameter to 1mm. I have my doubts that its going to be reliable because that just fits the various dimensions.

The spring size is 0.8mm x 10mm x 15mm. They work for me and if it ain't broke, no need for me to fix it.

So, been running around since my shave with the Masamura today. I was pleasantly surprised by the efficiency on setting 5. The razor is tiny but very well balanced. I got a great 2.5 pass BBS shave but still trying to decide if I will keep this one. Hope they release an XL or “Nodachi” version of this one that increases the gap selections and beefs up and lengthens the handle. Which titanium razor did you order last March?

Sorry for late response, been working through my notifications as I don't visit the forums as frequently as I used to.

I pre-paid for the H&SCo. Z074-ti.  Sounds like it'll be ready to ship sometime next week, and I am excited to get it as I have been getting by with only my Blackland Vector (other than a couple instances of test-driving a couple friends' razors) for months now.
