They are not a hard soap, I would say about a medium in that if you push your finger into it, you can indent the soap.

I have to say that you have one of the most lovely Internet site setups I have seen in a long time.  Everything is so neatly presented and the photography is beautiful.

I placed my first order and can't wait to try your product.

Hector,

Thanks for the kind words about our website - we tried our best to keep it clean and minimalistic. Also our photographer is awesome!

Thank you for your order! It will be dropped off at the post office today.

Enjoy.

Hi Ryan, I just placed an order on your site for the 4 aftershave set - I ordered 2 of your soaps from Canadian Blade Co. yesterday and I'm looking forward to trying out your products. I had a brain fart yesterday and should have ordered soap and aftershave from you directly but I wasn't thinking aftershave at the time and Lethbridge is closer to me than Winnipeg so thats what happened. I promise not to make any Winnipeg weather related jokes Smile I haven't visited your fair city very often but I do know lots of really great people from there - much like Saskatchewan, salt of the earth folks.

Happy to hear you ordered from Canadian Blade Co - Jon is a great guy, and we have to keep our retailers happy!

You ordered at a good time, we were just getting the rest of the weekend orders boxed up when yours came in so good timing.

Friendly Manitoba for sure, ours is just Wild Rose Country - our official flowerSmile

I'm glad you got the order in on the weekend run - I'm hoping to beat any imminent postal disruption.

As you claim to have never heard a Winnipeg joke Rolleyes , I'll save you some time, the punch lines are always variations on "can you believe how freaking cold it is!?" and "can you believe the size of the freaking mosquitoes!?"
Cheers,

Or as they say, 2 seasons: Winter and Mosquitos.

I've had many great times in Calgary. It's one of my favourite cities in Canada no doubt. Every time I visit I make sure to stock up on a few bottles, as your liquor laws (or lack thereof) allow for much better selection!

I'm glad we're good for something other than stampede and oil! Our liquor laws have relaxed a bit over the years. I can recall being in Toronto in the summer of 2011 for the National U17/U15 Basketball Tournament when my son played for Team Alberta - we arrived on a hot, humid sunday and I went to buy some beer to put in the mini-fridge. Sorry, no liquor stores open on Sunday. The next day was a holiday monday (august long weekend) and sorry, no liquor stores open on stat holidays. I'd forgotten about the impact of Government controlled liquor stores and unions.

I've been to the Stampede only once, what a time! Love the chuck wagons.

Ontario is by far the worst the government controlled liquor stores. Lots of micro breweries in Ontario which sell a fantastic product but can't get it into The Beer Store as its controlled by the big guys. Manitoba is much better, but still a far cry from Alberta.

Your order should be departing Winnipeg tomorrow. Enjoy!

Thanks Ryan!

Yeah, the chucks are the big draw for sure. Very exciting. If you ever get the chance you need to see the chuck wagon races at a small town venue. The same teams that race at the stampede run at various other small town rodeos throughout the summer racing season and you can get up close and personal at one of those venues in a way thats just not possible at the stampede. We were at the High River rodeo a few years back (week before stampede) and got there early enough to park and set up our lawn chairs right on the rail at the first turn. That is the place to be because after the teams do their figure 8 and load up the camp stove in the infield they all come hell bent for leather trying to be first into the turn #1. When you're standing right on the rail about 3/4 way around the first turn you can look straight down the track and all of the teams are coming full f-ing speed straight at you, horses pulling hard, drivers standing screaming and whipping the reins like maniacs, the thundering hooves and wagons and rigging and outriders and dirt flying as the wagons skew into the turn (you have to cover your beer at this point) is like nothing on earth. It was at that rodeo that my sister-in-law who is a track photographer went on a run with one of the teams in early morning practice and the wagon flipped sending her and the driver hard into the dirt. Driver was fine and the horses too but she broke her shoulder pretty bad. All part of the fun.

Thanks!
