Marko, that tub must be a true rarity in wet-shaving. It was released when I was not fortunate enough to know of T & S. I have never seen it on any BST's either. Some limited releases from T & S are once in a lifetime opportunity. If you miss it at first, you would never be able to get a hold of it later on. The fourth Japanese scent goes on sale this Friday and I'm sure Ryan will announce the details here. From what I have seen on Instagram, this new one does not sound very similar to Kyoto and Yakushima which were masterpiece creations by T & S. It may well be a great scent but we'll see. I'm set to order one for sure!

It wasn’t ever generally released. I can’t recall who the Huckleberry Kings are but I got a PM from a member asking if I wanted in on a limited release of T+S -Chatillon Lux and I got in. They did a T+S - Chatillon Lux YRP as well which I also have. I’d been, and still am a pretty vocal supporter of both T+S and CL so it was a great opportunity and a no brainer that I’d want in. You know, I think that soap is Ryan’s v1 base and it’s a great base that still ranks at or near the top despite two newer versions. I’ll be picking up the next release too.

Thank you for clarifying Marko. This wasn't even on T & S' archive of their previous releases. It must have been for a very exclusive/elite group. It would be great if CL and T & S do a collaboration in the future and the release would be open to everyone.

I am hoping Ryan would shed light on that. The latest Japanese offering, Shikoku, does not seem to have the woodsy, greenish elements of Kyoto and Yakushima. I may be wrong though, but their Instagram page lists only citrus notes for Shikoku.

Shikoku seems to be going more of a tea route, I'm sure it will be excellent.
Hey guys! Shikoku is very citrus heavy, with some rare Japanese citrus hybrids new to wet shaving. It’s 85%+ citrus with a light woody, ginger and green tea element.
It definitely shares some similarities with Kyoto and Yakushima, but this is the most citrus heavy of all of them. These Japanese citrus are quite unique - the citrus blend has sort of an orange/tangerine/yuzu scent to it.
We were hoping to have it out earlier this summer, but you know how things are right now. I figured it would be better to launch it a bit late than wait until next summer. I hope that was the right choice!
Cheers
Ryan

I was surprised to see a limited run of Morikami available too. Sadly my alert didn’t go off and I missed out on that one. Again. I will just have to take comfort in the fact that in life, you can’t have everything.
Thanks Ryan
