Hold on. “Too far towards the rose” – what does that even mean? Rose is like cowbell – there can never be too much. Smile

(P.S. I have and love the original Morocco, but am eager to experience the newest version at some point.)

I tried Cairo yesterday. It’s amazing. For starters, the T+S base is absolutely one of the best I’ve tried  Happy2 and this Cairo scent is really nice, kind of exotic. Love it.

I can relate. I’ve tried to preserve some favorite scents, and every time I open the container or bag, I wonder if the scent gets a little weaker because of it. Waiting for the day when scents are digitized, and we can smell all the great fragrances of old that have been ruined by cost-cuts, dilution or regulations, or were simply discontinued at some point.

Cairo is getting high praise here and on other media! (Adds to shopping list…)

Thanks Mark! I'm glad to hear it. Exotic is what we went for on that one. I actually started working on Cairo a year or so ago, then I would just come back to it off and on until I finally could get it to where I wanted it to be. There were probably 15 different versions of it at one point. My favourite comment so far was an email where someone said they used Cairo and then 3 wise men and a goat showed up at their door  Big Grin

I hope you're having a better spring than us. Summer arrived in full-force and then it left. Cold as hell here. I had to cover our plants and flowers (which I clearly planted too early) because it went below 0 last night. It's supposed to warm up tomorrow and then I'll uncover them to see if they survived or not. Oh well, it's not like we can do anything anyway since we are under pretty tight restrictions. We are sending ICU patients to other provinces as Manitoba's healthcare system can't handle any more patients. Tough times here, but thankfully our cases seem to be dropping now.

I'm actually a big fan of the rose scents and will very likely give the new Morocco a try in the near future.  But I'm a bigger fan of smoke scents Smile.  The "old" Morocco scent was one of my all-time favorites...so much so that I couldn't bring myself to finish the tub.  I kept a little of the soap in a ziplock bag to so i can revisit it from time to time.

Damn..I wish I had an extra one for you! We are doing something more with smokiness later this year hopefully.

Digitalized scents might come sooner than we think: https://ovrtechnology.com/technology/

Have you seen that?

I'm in favor of smokiness over rose. but the combination can be a good thing.

Very sorry to hear about the rough situation there, hopefully things start to get better really soon. Stay safe!

Thanks for the link – extremely interesting, and I knew someone had to be working on something like this!

Hi Ryan, I hope you're doing well amid the not-so-easy covid situation in Manitoba.  I was wondering how far we are until the next Japanese release as summer is just around the corner.  As I have the strongest aversion to heat and the summer season in general, I'm looking for something to boost the spirit so to speak!  Thanks and stay safe
