We should switch places for a bit – I miss the snow! Smile We haven’t had any rain here since April, except for a few random drops for five minutes last month. Quite worrisome. In such conditions, my hide thanks me every time I use a Tallow + Steel soap and splash. The skin feel of both products is truly exceptional.

You do realize Matsilainen that it’s Winnipeg you’re talking about right? In a country where winter has a nasty reputation, winter in Winnipeg is possibly the nastiest. We’re not talking rosey  cheeks and catching snowflakes on your tongue, no, it can kill you. Without remorse. But then you’re from Finland aren’t you? You’re familiar with that sort of weather? That’s probably why you live in a hot desert climate now Smile

I will make that trade! No rain since April does sound really crazy though. Phoenix is one of my fav USA cities, so I'd happily live in the desert.

Like Mark says.. there is "winter", and then there is "try not to be outside longer than a few minutes to avoid death!" It's really the wind that gets you. -40 C (-40 F), isn't too bad.. but add the wind chill of a 30 kt prairie wind in there and now it feels like -60 C on your skin, and you don't have long before you are in real trouble.

Hey Max! Thanks a lot for your order. Sorry about the delay in it getting there. Enjoy it, and as per my last post, enjoy the Las Vegas weather too.  Big Grin

While I’ve spent plenty of time in cold climates (and yes, mainly Finland), I admittedly don’t have extensive experience of -40° C weather. Especially not with such additional wind chill factors. Clearly, I wasn’t thinking everything through when this trade thought entered my mind. Smile I miss snow, but I definitely don’t miss the cold.

By the way, we finally got some rain here today. Las Vegas McCarran Airport: first measurable rainfall since 20 April:  0.03 in. / 0.8 mm. So about the same as the blade gap of some common DE razors… Confused

You’re a smart man to take the trade offer back!

Hopefully you will get some more rain this winter.

There's not even any snow in Helsinki this year. Temps just over the 0°C mark so really can't compare to Winnipeg for sure here.

I'm just going to say it again, Classic 2 needs to get in the regular lineup, it's just amazingly good. Seems that a lot of other guys on Team Finland think so too, I've seen it more and more in our local group. I know I've done what I can to talk it up.

My wife got me a can of Rive Gauche to complete the experience. It really doesn't get any better for me.

That and West Indies are the only two soaps I need. Not that I've let that stop me from having plenty more.

Hi Ryan, thanks and I hope you and your loved ones had a great Christmas as well. We got 2 feet of snow on Tuesday before Christmas so a little digging out was in order. We’ve had a little more snow since so white Christmas for sure. I do like my 4x4 and snow tires.

We are shipping to Finland more than ever - maybe I have you to thank! We won’t make it part of our core line though, at least not yet, as it doesn’t fit the theme. More to come soon though to join the lineup, and hopefully you’ll like one of those as much as you do Classic.

Say hello to the guys in your local group for me. Cheers.

Thanks Mark, same to you. How did I know you’d be the type to drive a 4x4? Big Grin
