Thank you! There is actually very little cinnamon in the product: 0.5-1% by total weight, but yes some may be sensitive to the cinnamon.

Bowl lathering is one way you can help with any sensitivities.

Ryan,
How does bowl lathering help? I had a slight reaction to it but it went away fairly quickly.

You're not grinding the soap into your face while building the lather. If you create lather in a bowl, it's ready to paint on and doesn't require the same amount of agitation on your face.

Although every T&S product I've tried has given me an outstanding post shave feel, has anyone else notice that 150 gives a noticeably better post shave feel? even over V3... Ryan @ Tallow + Steel  have you notice this?

Its got to be the castoreum in the 150 Big Grin I'll have to dig out my 150 to see what you're talking about.

I think the other guys are right - something about beaver sacs on the face! Big Grin

In all seriousness, no I don’t have any idea why that would be. It could be that one or some of the scent ingredients (castoreum, our coffee extract, etc) just really works with your skin chemistry. Other than that, I’m all out of ideas!

It’s really cool to see people still enjoying our previous releases!

Lol! I wish I'd been able to get my paws on that one Smile

Speaking of previous releases.. Ryan @ Tallow + Steel - Have all your releases been made with only natural fragrance, including LEs like the Chatillon Lux collabs?

Also, when is Dark coming?!

All of our releases use naturals, except the CL collabs because they were his scents.

Dark 2.0 will be returning this winter as a LE!

I say 2.0 since it will have a new label design. Also with the new soap base, and the potential for essential oils being sourced from different counties than originally, it might end up being very slightly different.

What do you guys think? Should we keep Dark exactly the same? More/less of coffee/cocoa? More/less peppermint?

We were also approached by a prominent Wetshaving Retailer to produce a LE product for them, so more details to follow on that.

And as always, more cool stuff coming soon!
