Unscented could possibly end up smelling odd from the tallow plus other oils. What about a simple scent with one essential oil such as lime, sandlewood, etc?

Between soaps and creams I have used more than 20 in unscented version and all of them smell like one or two of their ingredients, namely oils or clay or nothing at all. Maybe one or two had a little more scent to them and the same has been reported on their scented counterparts as well. IME, most ingredient scents tend to fade over time. Only exceptions are those from Meissner Tremonia.

Note: I use unscented soaps for allergic and sensitivity reasons but in retrospect this has forced me to focus towards pure shaving performance and away from scents.

I finally received my Shiva's Cognac set. Check it out:

This was my first time using the V1 base and tbh I expected good as opposed to great just because I'm so used to the newer improved bases, but I was pleasantly surprised. This stuff performs amazingly.

Something else - Dark will return sometime this winter as a limited edition! Nice score on Shiva's Cognac - it's a hard one to find!
