I get it for soaps, but AS is kind of different, for me at least, so thought this could be a sort of compromise. Just spitballing.

Yeah perfumey scents aren't my style. We really only do things that we think we can do better or different, and there are so many artisans who do those types of scents very well.

We have been playing around with one idea though, and a dedicated aftershave line may be perfect for it. We will keep experimenting.

Kyoto was the only LE.

The difference with T+S is that we usually only do Limited Edition when it HAS to be Limited, ie: we had a limited amount of castors for castoreum in 150, we could only get so much of the American variety hop oils for WCIPA, and the oils for Kyoto were hand delivered from Japan so we were limited on weight.

We have a few remaining Kyoto that will be relased as collections (soap + aftershave) on July 21 Noon EST.

Cheers

Kyoto arrived in Helsinki today. Thanks Ryan for holding off shipping for me, it came at the perfect time.

This totally has the T+S signature style in spades, the atmospheric scent is remarkable. The package also really takes it home with that rice paper feel. I'm really looking forward to it hitting the brush in the a.m.

Well... if it makes you feel any better, they are a nuisance animal that does a lot of damage to infrastructure, and they need to be trapped to keep their population in check. The furs and castor sacs are sold, and the meat used as bait for other animals.

I get it Ryan. Plenty of animals like that. Post was in fun about the secreation from a beavers taint being splashed on my face. It was a "surprising " read on the ingredient. Even funnier are the posts about adding heavier doses of castoreum.......I just get a picture of a beaver being milked silly to get a few more hours of longevity.

Awesome! It arrived in good time. Lots of the vegetal/marine notes from the jar, but you will get a lot of Yuzu when you lather. Enjoy!
