I have a hard time discerning the difference if both are a high quality soap. I guess that means I have no preference, though most of my favorites do tend to fall in the tallow camp...L&L, Stirling, B&M, Crowne & Crane...

This is why I use vegan soaps made by artisans that meet or exceed this standard. With that in mind, my soaps are now pretty much interchangeable. Now I just choose by scent.

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”
