I like the softness of my Kent Infinity Silvertex but it's too springy and not as efficient as my Plisson and Pur Tech.

So I scoured it on a 700 grit whetstone for 10 minutes and now the fibres have gone from Generation 3.5 to Generation X![Image: 20150910_082740.jpg]
This has genuinely made it into a softer and more efficient brush Smile

If you don't believe me, try it for yourself...

Interesting idea, I'm actually not surprised at all TBH.

There is no way I'm sanding a brush. Glad it worked for you, but make sure to mention that I'd you ever go to sell or trade it.

All evidence has been buried. All tapes have been erased.

Ha ha - yes. Boosting the performance of the Infinity like this should increase its value Smile
