Synthetics

I pulled the trigger a few weeks ago and got a fine angel hair synthetic.  It was truly my first synthetic brush.  I used it for two weeks straight, my conclusion, synthetics aren't for me.  Brush performed just fine, but I think this validated what I already knew.... I'll always be a badger man..... Isn't wet shaving today great, so many choices and so many quality products out there.

I love my Plisson pour L'Occitane synthetic but truly agree with you about where wet shaving is today. The difference between when I started out about ten years ago and now is like night and day.

I'm not going to try to convince you that synthetics aren't for you SS, but the field of synthetics incredibly varied. You gave them a try. Kudos!

The stirling brush and the switchback are in a league of their own though. People are throwing the Fine and the Plisson on B/S/T left and right, and for good reason. I'm keeping my Plisson as a travel brush. That said I like all three of the hair types I have for different reasons.

Almost all types of brushes end up on BST eventually. To compare two so new that people aren't out of the honeymoon phase yet with others that have been around awhile is not a good data point to draw a conclusion from.
