Gorgeous! The exposure? Obviously F8 and be there. With emphasis on the "be there".

Sorry, I can't tell you any technical details as I said, it was taken by a friend who is a professional photographer.  He just went through a health scare this fall.  His wife noticed something was off so they went to the doctor andMRI showed a tumour on his pituitary gland.  It was non-cancerous and they managed to remove it entirely although it was right on the optic nerve and blindness was a possible outcome.  He's been a photographer all his life so the prospect of blindness frightened him the most.  That image was the first image he took post surgery.  I think he still has an eye for the light!

Location is the view of the Rockies from the western edge of Calgary, Alberta

It's a joke Marko. It's a given that when someone takes a great photo that someone will undoubtedly ask what the exposure was if it's not listed. Who cares? It was what it needed to be at the time, the key was to be there. Hence the standard wise a-- answer is "F8 and be there".

Big sky - this one was taken by me which accounts for the markedly lower quality of the image but I do love our clear blue skies.
