Suneko Amorphous Diamond Super Stainless

I just used one for the first time tonight. Initial impression is that it is a very good blade providing adequate sharpness for me. No blood, no tugginess. Just a smooth efficient shave.

I ordered from Aliexpress, but they dropped a zero when fulfilling my order. I only received two tucks of blades, but was quickly refunded the full price when I notified the vendor. Due to positive reviews and apparently a bump in sales the price has already gone up by $1 since my order a few weeks ago. 

Do I wish I received the full 200? Yes. But I have so many blades, I will be satisfied with the 20 I received.

Where did you source your blades?

I am trying to obtain a few to evaluate for my blade evaluation thread. Like you, I do not need another 100-200 blades.

I was hoping that he had found a source to order a couple of tucks, but apparently he ordered 200 blades and Aliexpress only shipped 20; or perhaps some of the blades were pilfered along the way. Such thing are why I refuse or order from Aliexpress.

I have only ordered from Aliexpress a handful of times, and this $20 purchase was my most expensive. I think it was an honest mistake and it was corrected right away. There was no evidence of tampering, just two tucks of 10 blades. Or maybe I am naive

One more note: The blades are double wrapped, outer envelope printed to match the box, and NO LAYER OF GLUE to peel off (looking at you, Gillette Nacet). I know, could be a liability with blades bouncing around, but the blade was securely nestled in the wrapper, all paper folds looking sharp and accurate.

Still smooth and shaving well at shave #7.

celestino that's interesting. I think shipping was just over $2 for me. I'm not sure why it would cost any more to ship to Canada.

I received a couple of sample blades courtesy of ewk to evaluate as part of my DE blade evaluation series. I rated the blades as 4 out of 5 on sharpness and 4 out of 5 on smoothness. It is a decent blade, but there is nothing special about it. The blades now say "new platinum" so I am not even sure they are still using the "amorphous diamond" coating. The blades are similar to many other blades available. 

If you can get the blades at a good price, including shipping costs, then they would be worthwhile, but there are too many other blades with similar performance to pay a premium.
