Its like there's a tiny bit of lavender in there wanting to peak through by to my nose the peppermint just takes over (was hoping for more lavender in the mix).
Yes, but the peppermint is simply superb on this one!!
Secretary Ramsey put his foot into it yesterday . . . in the course of his remarks he said that California “needs water and better society.” “So does h-ll,” yelled someone in the crowd.

Admittedly, the only one I have is the DdT Chatillon Lux collaboration, but the soap base is outstanding and the scent is as well. My only gripe would be the size of the soap container they use. This was easily remedied by transferring the soap to a larger diameter jar.
I hear you man, I transferred my Citrus & Bay into an old HTGAM tin that I think is 5" in diameter. It lathers amazingly well. I put another one in an empty B&M (4" diameter) container and its great in there.

I wish every tin was 5 inches in diameter haha!

Yes, I can use the very largest brush I have without any slopping over the side. I asked PAA about those tins and whether he'd ever consider bringing them back and apparently not - the 4" world more or less compelled him to conform. Now lets get to work on these 3.5"ers
I just transfer a couple of heaping Q-Tip heads of this soap into a bowl and proceed to lather. It's amazing how much lather a little bit makes with this soap.
I am now of the firm belief that I have never used a better shave soap. Period. It's that damn good. I don't know how he stumbled upon the formula, but I am willing to bet it took a boatload of experimentation & dedication. Regardless, this is for the true wet shaving connoisseur. It almost feels like cheating by using it.

I too just got the Rose and Black Pepper along with the matching aftershave. The aftershave does not contain alcohol but is long lasting and great for the skin. So I now have SS's Citrus and Bay and Rose and Black Pepper soaps and I really look forward to their comming up up in my rotation. I agree with BPman on SS's soaps - I love them. They are easily in my top three Soaps. I wish they would come out with a few more scents.
