I agree with the comment - There is a lot of Peppermint, very little lavender.
Personally - I like the minty in the winter, then switch to more flowery in the spring...

Yes, but the peppermint is simply superb on this one!! Wink

I would never have given the Lavender equal billing, but it's in there. It's Peppermint rounded out by the lavender.

I'm on a Scentless soap kick lately but I might have to give them a try after hearing such good things about it. Thanks for the review! Hmm... Now which scent to get?...
So shave your face with some mace in the dark.

This was easily remedied by transferring the soap to a larger diameter jar.

I hear you man, I transferred my Citrus & Bay into an old HTGAM tin that I think is 5" in diameter. It lathers amazingly well. I put another one in an empty B&M (4" diameter) container and its great in there.

I wish every tin was 5 inches in diameter haha!

Yes, I can use the very largest brush I have without any slopping over the side. I asked PAA about those tins and whether he'd ever consider bringing them back and apparently not - the 4" world more or less compelled him to conform. Now lets get to work on these 3.5"ers

I just transfer a couple of heaping Q-Tip heads of this soap into a bowl and proceed to lather. It's amazing how much lather a little bit makes with this soap.

I am now of the firm belief that I have never used a better shave soap. Period. It's that damn good. I don't know how he stumbled upon the formula, but I am willing to bet it took a boatload of experimentation & dedication. Regardless, this is for the true wet shaving connoisseur. It almost feels like cheating by using it. Smile

The new Rose and Black Pepper scent is very good. Also, the Delor de Treget.

I too just got the Rose and Black Pepper along with the matching aftershave.  The aftershave does not contain alcohol but is long lasting and great for the skin.  So I now have SS's Citrus and Bay and Rose and Black Pepper soaps and I really look forward to their comming up up in my rotation.  I agree with BPman on SS's soaps - I love them.  They are easily in my top three Soaps.  I wish they would come out with a few more scents.
