My "Sea Glass" series of handles are actually resin that I dye to look like sea glass!

I can do frosted, non-frosted, tiny air bubbles, no air bubbles, green, blue, clear/white, etc.

My family and I do spend a lot of time on the Western Washington beaches looking for sea glass though. It's a fun thing to do here.

That explains it. I remember you saying you enjoy looking for it and Every time I see you say sea glass handle, I think of what HUGE windshield for an airplane or something it must have been to be big enough to turn  Big Grin

Razor: Henson (medium) w/ TiBam Titanium Handle
Brush: Trotter Handcrafts - "Pablo Honey" w/ 24mm SHD Knot
Soap: Palmolive Cream w/ Menthol
Aftershave: Williams Aqua Velva (Spanish)
Blade: Bic Chrome Platinum

... and today's Handcraft is ...

Did I miss your review / thoughts on the Henson Medium? I may have been too distracted by the Pablo Honey brush. This could be my favorite, thus far. Though, I just looked back... Is that a filter? The original pics lacked that red color. Love it with the red / yellow.

Hey Paul. I posted my thoughts on the Henson in post #548:

https://damnfineshave.com/thread-stubble...#pid400859

I don't think I used a color-changing filter on that "Pablo Honey" handle pic... no red in it, just dark orange in some light conditions. It's probably my favorite pour so far! I actually put that 24mm Maggards SHD knot (that I got from you) in it!

I've learned so much in the last few weeks on resin pours, dyes, sanding, polishing, etc. The pressure pot also made a noticeable difference. I feel I've turned a corner and hope you guys enjoy seeing what I post in the future. It's really a fun, addictive hobby for me.

Wow, see what happens when you get old? I did read that before, and even liked it. Lol! My memory sure isn't what it used to be.

Thanks for the refresher Paul!

You're taking off like a rocket Paul. I really dig the matching brush and stand.

Thank you Mike. I appreciate the compliment! My new thing (I think) is to pour extra resin in the handle mold and attempt to make a matching stand with each handle. We'll see how long that idea lasts and if I can keep my sanity Wink

This was the Black Locust handle from the recent YouTube videos.

The more I stared at it, the handle just seemed a tad too tall and I wanted it to have a different profile.

So here’s the improved version:

Razor: Wolfman WR1 (.80 gap)
Brush: Viking
Soap: Los Jabones De Joserra - Viriato
Aftershave: Eleven - “5”
Blade: Wizamet

Channeling my inner Viking this morning. Hey. I'm allowed to since I'm Norwegian and grew up in Alaska on boats n' stuff.

First use of the "new to me" Viking Brush. Andrew Viking is my favorite handle maker out there. He also has been kind enough to offer me advice and tips in my own handle making journey. You rock Andrew!

The Los Jabones De Joserra soap delivers yet again. Dare I say this is the "best" soap I've ever used? I'm tempted, but na... I reserve that spot for Tabac and La Toja. I will say its the best "Artisan" soap I've ever used. Especially in the lather and post shave dept.

The Eleven aftershave balm is a new find for me, and also a first use today. It has a nice, mellow, light scent and applied well. Great face feel after an hour or so. Seems like a winner.

Happy Friday DFS! Be safe and seize the day.
