Thanks Eric! “Dark Side of the Moon” has a new owner, so it will be interesting to see what knot he goes with. Hope we get a picture Wink
Wait... You did send it to him on the promise he'd post pictures of the final product, right?! You have to have the legal small print, Paul. We love pictures. Lol!

Very excited to see what he chooses to go with.

Haha. He’s a regular around these parts, so I assumed no photo contract was needed.

Razor: ATT G1 w/ RR DLC Halo Handle
Brush: Trotter Handcrafts - 26mm Oumo
Soap: Van Der Lovett - Sweetwood
Aftershave: Trotter Handcrafts
Cologne: GFT Sandalwood
Blade: Personna Stainless/Coated

Van Der Lovett is a triple milled soap that is made in Holland. The company/products looked interesting, so I purchased their "Sweetwood" offering, which I believe is their take on Sandalwood. To me its a very natural scent and on the mild side. It lathered easily and was a pleasure to use. Upon doing some research, some folks believe this company also makes the Fine soaps and the soap bases might even be the same, or at least similar. Overall, its a good product in my opinion and I'm glad I tried it. I think its a better performer than the LEA soap I previously used.

The ATT G1 is the the razor-of-the-day... and I think this will be my farewell shave with it. I don't like the design that seems like you need 3 hands to assemble, and the format of a GEM blade just isn't for me. I feel like I should be scraping paint off a window or opening a cardboard box with these blades... not shaving with them! Glad I got to give it a handful of uses, but it will likely be off to the BST in the near future.

My Post Shave Toner made my face feel better after the semi uncomfortable shave. I personally like some tackiness to my aftershaves (thank you jojoba oil) rather than a full alcohol blast then total dry down, but I get that others don't.

Anyways, I might be on the DFS a bit less over the next week. Lots of "work" coming up at my real day job (which thank goodness isn't selling brush handles and shave toner), and I even have some family showing up for the first time since the world went sideways.

Later dudes

Yikes, sorry to hear about the shave. GEMS never really caught on for me, so I can absolutely appreciate the paint scraper analogy.

Ditto on the picture, HighSpeed . That brush looks awesome in the lighting, as does the soap. Picked up this brand on a recommendation but the scent I grabbed didn't vibe with my tastes. Sent it off to a friend to try.

Enjoy the family time and godspeed with the work-thing.
