It's a badger but Paul offers his usually without a knot and he puts that knot in unglued for display purposes.

I typically make my handles for 26mm knots.
The one pictured above was for a 28mm Elite Manchurian White knot I had sitting on the shelf.
I can easily make a brush for a 24mm too out of the same wood.
