Straight RazorDisplay/Stand suggestions?

I was hoping someone could point me in the direction of a straight razor stand or display that I could use for my nicer straights without worrying about the risk of scratching or damaging them. 

Currently I have been using the steel/chrome style wire stands... but after getting my sprecher today.... feel uncomfortable using it. (See photo below)



Can anyone recommend something a bit safer? I have multiple straights id like to safely display.

Maybe this is something that could match your bathroom. It's made by Richtercustoms on Etsy. It's made from cherry wood although Richard has some other offerings for DE's that are made of walnut so there's a chance you can have it custom made in another wood.

I would need 2 or 3 of those and then the wife will know how many I ACTUALLY have.

Yeah, it would or even Ebony or African black wood. Eventually you'll end up filling all the slots if not have it made with less.

Yeah, and to be honest; I’m sure I can get them to make a 5/5 hybrid....

I'm not so loyal to one tool.
I love different systems, and for each I've different models.
Soooo ... mostly my storage is in individual boxes, to prevent oxidation.

Years ago I had one of these metal wire stands.
To prevent scratches, I've rubber coated the corners.
It worked very well ...

Two things about that plasti-dip stuff:
- It comes in a bunch of different colours, if you can find them.
- You can remove the dried product by dissolving it in Xylene, Toluene, lacquer thinner etc., assuming that they're safe for the object it is coating. You can also can thin the product with Xylene for a thinner coat.
