I've been scaled. I'm smooth now.

Stirling is my favorite of the artisan soap companies mainly because they are a good value.

I've mainly bought samples (as you can see here) but have found a few that I like so much, I've bought a full tub.
Barbershop is one of them.  My all-time favorite shave soap, period.
OTOH, sometimes I think they swing and miss.  I bought a sample of Stirling Gentleman and thought it should have been called Stirling Little Old Lady's Purse.

Agreed on that. I spy the bay rum! Love their rendition of old spice.

A local cigar/manly things store carries a bunch of their stuff. I picked up the Christmas Eve. It quickly became one of my favorites. I promptly ordered more directly from them.

Thanks to everyone for the recommendations for a Stirling version of Arko/Derby citronella.  I finally got a sample puck of Electric Sheep with my last order, and I LOVE IT!
IMHO, it is not a "strong" scent, and is fantastic to lather with the sheep tallow base.  It is about the same scent strength as Arko.  I had been using the Stirling small tins for my samples, but I found that an empty TOBS plastic container is way better for the Stirling sample pucks.  Loading a brush is easier, due to the higher sidewalls of the TOBS container...and the Stirling sample puck fits perfectly in the bottom.  Also, the inner plastic lid plus the screw-on lid will keep the soap fresher.  I am sure that someone else has already figured this out, but wanted to share this anyway.  A full size tub of Electric Sheep will be on my next Stirling order.
