Initial impressions from sniffing the jars:

EXECUTIVE MAN:  As expected, pretty good.  Although I may like Fine Platinum better since it is a bit "smokier"
BAKER STREET: Interesting... not sure what I was actually expecting here.
BARBERSHOP: Smells powdery and... vanilla maybe?  Not bad, but not my favorite.
BAY RUM:  This is my first, and likely last, Bay Rum.  I had a feeling I might not be a "Bay Rum" guy, and it turns out, I'm not!

I shaved with BAKER STREET.  I got a very nice, slick, creamy lather.  Very protective.  Scent is pleasant.  Face feels soft, smooth and moisturized afterwards.  Like a baby's bottom Smile Can't ask for too much more than that!

I will probably trade/sell most or all of these and get myself some Stirling Spice and Bergamot Lavender and maybe one or two others now that I know for sure I like the base.
Excellent. And agree with you on all points. I had the barbershop and pif. I prefer the fine version as well - birch year and smokiness is better. Had not tried baker Street. Spice is grand. Seems like we are on the same page. I do like some bay rums. It lathers up and smells better than right off the puck.

If ezlovan would make a Rive Gauche scent and a sweet tobacco blossom that I enjoy, I might not ever buy anything else.  I have far more Stirling scents than anything else, and the scents below will always be in my den as long as he keeps making them.
  • Sharp Dressed Man
  • Triumph
  • Executive Man
  • Barbershop
  • Sandpiper
  • Dunshire
  • Intrepid Man

I've been working with two of the fragrance companies that buy from to get a custom Rive Gauche oil made for us. You can find commercially available oils that are based on it, but I've not found one yet that I thought did the scent justice. We will 100% be doing that scent at some point though.

Man that is exciting. Rive Gauche is a classic fragrance - and my most complimented shave from the wife and friends. A great addition to your exemplary line-up. Stirling is always in my rotation - and i am hording Stirling Spice, Sharp Dressed Man, Haverford, Bay Rum, Unscented, and Piacenza. Have Green headed my way with the new 'Fahrenheit' cousin coming.
