We should be moving to a new website this week. Along with the new website, we'll be releasing a handful of our spring scents early to give folks a reason to stop by and check out the new site.

Glastonbury, Port-au-Prince, Plumeria, and Weekend in Malibu will be up as soon as they new site goes up. We'll also be running a contest for some brushes as well. I'll try to post a picture later.

ezlovan have you got a new formula soap base out there and a new scent? I saw some folks on another forum talking about it. Whats the scoop?

I've been toying with removing almond oil from our formula for a while as way to be a little more friendly to those with nut allergies. The new scent is a fougere I've been working on for the Dutch Shaving forum. It'll be out in May.

Awe, I hope you don’t change the formula, Stirling is one of my absolute favourites that has a forever spot in my den. Barbershop smells sooo amazing, don’t change what’s not broken! Stirling is up there with the best of the best.

I'm likely going to keep it as is. Contrary to some opinions, I agree with you and think our base is top shelf. For some I think it's a matter of it being so much cheaper per ounce that there's no way it could be as good. Also, we've been around a while (2011). We're not the new shiny thing. The big thing though is we've done a poor job of consumer education. We don't use chelating agents, detergents, or coconut oil in our soap so it definitely lathers differently than most on the market. Just like any other soap, if you aren't lathering it properly, you're bound to have less than the best results. I am to fix that soon with some video series on our YouTube channel.

Thank you for the compliment. I mean that.

Excellent news, Rod. I think that educating about your product will help shavers recognize what a great value Stirling Soaps are. Explaining WHY it lathers differently and then demonstrating the process will be very helpful!

Keep up the good work!

People have issues lathering Stirling soaps?... I’ve found it to be one of the easiest and best lathers out there. There’s really zero weakness to Stirling, lathers thick and easy, its very slick, offers a great protective lather plus it leaves an outstanding post shave feel. Love that they have both EO and FO for scents, the balms are great too. Scents are also well done. Anyways, I look forward to your YouTube videos!. Glad to hear your going to leave the base alone, no need to change it.

^This. I've never understood the comments about Stirling soaps being hard to lather. Could be different water types, but I've never had an issue with it at home or traveling.
