Here's the most recent pass around list. As per the usual pass around rules, keep the razor for about a week and send it off to the next person in line. Once you're done with the razor, please share your feedback - whether good or bad - in this thread.

Also, as requested by Rod (ezlovan), please put the razors and cases in the provided box and ship the razors off to the next person in a priority mail flat rate padded envelope ONLY!!

**Please soak/spray the entire razor in alcohol or something similar before shipping it out and upon receiving it to reduce any virus risks!**

gwsmallwood I have two thirds of the handles and all of the top caps in hand. I'm just waiting on the remainder of the handles and all of the base plates to make it back from the polisher.

Every time I've said a date, I've been wrong, so I'm just going to say they are still coming. We're likely just going to release them all at once (including the original batch that was actually made in China - we'll grind the "Made in the USA" etching off of them) and be done with them. I love these razors, but until I can afford my own CNC machine and polishing and etching machines, I'm out of the razor game. By the time it's all said and done, we'll likely lose money on them. Took too long to get them finished and to market, and the market is more crowded today than ever. We were originally going to have them listed in the 200-215 range, but now I don't even think we'll sell them for $150. Likely more around $125, which will at least allow me to break even on my machining, polishing, etching, and packaging costs. The development costs won't ever be recouped unless the day comes that I can get my own machines and make them in house.

Right now I just want to be done with them so I can focus on other things.

Rod ezlovan I am so sorry that this ended up being the nightmare it has for you. You deserved better !!! I hope that day of you doing them in-house comes for you and your family !!

Nothing more than to simply reiterate what was said in this post! Well that, and I think your razor has a place in the market even if more places are coming in. I plan to pick up one when possible as I just got a new razor lately, and I was thinking this isn't even as efficient as your razors I used. Sometimes I let my facial growth get a bit too much, and frankly I need something more potent, and I think gwsmallwood nailed it in that your approach is much different from almost every maker out there in that they play it safer. Not to say that is wrong, but I think even with my thoughts of having using it is that this is very efficient and I need to be careful with it, it might not be the best razor to use all the time, it obviously left a good impression on me to not even halfway in my first shave with a new razor to think of your razors being a better fit. I caught myself moving to go get it and then remembered I don't have it anymore, that I used it as part of the pass around.

just checking in to report that both razors made it to me safely today....the leather cases they're in look great. I haven't had time to look at them further than that yet.

And now we all wait until ezlovan releases them. Are you planning to give us passaround folks an early heads up?

I intend to. That way those that do want them and have tried them out can request a specific serial number should they wish to do so. I don't think there will be an issue with them selling out. I hate artificial scarcity, so I foolishly had hundreds machined.

Maybe not "foolishly"...I'm sure there are many like myself that didn't participate in the pass-around but will be making the purchase!  Good luck and looking forward to the release!

Awesome. I've been holding back some of my shaving budget in anticipation...

I just got a shipping notification from the machine shop for the remainder of the handles and all of the base plates. I am extremely nervous to see the final product, especially the etching on the bottoms of the base plates. Either way, I will have every razor in hand, including the Chinese made versions, by the end of next week.

I used the HA razor for my shave last night with an astra sp blade. fit and finish seems good, tight tolerances, though not as tight as my henson de razor. I'm also not sure about the handles - aesthetically, they don't do it for me, but functionally they were fine during the shave itself. the razor with less knurling on the handle weighed 3.2oz while the other one with more knurling was 3.5oz, iirc.

loading the blade...I'm not a fan of razors where you load the blade on the base plate (stirling's razors and some of the razorock razors) rather than the top cap.

the shave itself..this bad boy is aggressive, that's for sure. I got a few spots of some razor burn, but boy did it mow through my forest with ease and it had pretty good audible feedback. with how much of a blade gap this razor has, I also didn't have any issues with the soap or any hairs getting clogged up.

for my next shave, I'll probably switch to the other razor, to see how it compares.

thanks again for letting us pass these around, ezlovan and I hope everything works out for you!

Yeah that hyper aggressive would take ridiculous growth to clog it I feel. I noted the same thing with it.
