More blade feel than the MMOC.  Never tried the Large F.  I've tried the E and didn't find it very efficient in comparison to it's blade feel.

crazy...I thought the MMOC was an absolute beast....I put it down very quickly. haha

Head shave only last night, this time with the ST plate and the smooth handle.  The ST plate is much more comfortable for me.  I would say even this one is not a beginner's razor.  It still has plenty of blade feel, but not uncomfortably so.  Comparing it to some of the other Stainless razors I've had a chance to try, I would say it's more efficient than the ATT H1/H2, as well as the Russian Start 1.18 plate.  It's also more efficient than the Karve D, which I think had far more blade feel than the Stirling ST.  This handle is a no-go for me.  I hold my razors toward the end of the handle, and this one felt far too slippery for that.  I really enjoyed the results with the ST head, though.  I'm going to try these with one of my 85mm handles and see how they feel next.

I'm with you on that, Andrew.  I called the MMOC a face eater.  I still have it somewhere but have never had the desire to attempt another shave with it.  It just remains part of my general razor collection.  Yet, there are guys who absolutely swear by it so there definitely is no one size fits all for it (or any other razor, for that matter).

From all of the great reviews I've read here, the ST plate would probably be more to my liking, should I end up considering one.

I've never understood why so many people think the MMOC is beastly. I think that people don't keep it close enough to their face. It has to be held almlst flat against the face, and then used with a light touch, and then, at least for me, it is a smooth shaver.

Face shave only last night.  My wife is ready for the beard to come back, but I've purposely been holding off because I knew these razors were coming.  I'm going to give the HA plate one more chance, but I think I've confirmed that I prefer the ST plate.  It's got plenty of blade feel and efficiency for my taste.  It felt much better paired with one of my two preferred handles, my Razorock Barberpole.  I think I need one more use to confirm, but it could probably replace my ATT H1.  The H1 has always felt just a bit too mild for me, but I've hung onto it because it's my only stainless razor.  I did get one weeper around the corner of the mouth, but that's always a trouble spot for me.  My hair pattern swirls a bit right there.

It's nice. I wasn't sure about it at first, but it grew on me. I actually won it at The Big Shave Southwest last year. It's heavy on the basil / anise, which I like.
