I whole heartily agree with the rules. Staying germane to the topics we have here is why I visit. If I want to talk about anything else, there are forums for just that. Thanks for providing a "no skins" site. This old timer really appreciates it.

As a new member, I appreciate the reminder. I really only want to talk about shaving related items here anyways !

The rules of this forum make total sense.   Personally, I have no problem with people getting worked up -- we're enthusiasts, after all, and feel strongly about our interests -- but there should be no reason for anyone to get offended if the rules are followed. No personal attacks or sarcasm; when in doubt, do not hit "Post Reply".

This thread went greatly off topic and all non relevant posts have been hidden from view. As an announcement thread we would like to keep things on topic and those which went off topic have been removed from the thread. No one on the mod team (or others) were offended by anything, we would just like to stay on task here.

There has been plenty of feedback on the re-clarification of what few rules we have here, and as such we are closing the thread down from further discussion.
