OMG.  Really?  Has anyone actually had this problem?  I recently paired a SS head with a ti handle.  I  wondering if I will have a problem as I do not want to unscrew them every day.

I have been using my Stork Titanium handles with my stainless steel razor heads, for over 18 months, now, and I have never had any problems with corrosion or even staining.
Maybe, those engineers were referring to outdoor conditions for an extended period of time when they were referencing the problem of corrosion.

I have never had a completely ti razor but have been using SS heads with hempel and triad ti handles for a couple of years now. I tend to be heavy handed so the ti handle works wonders for me in improving the shave I get plus I feel like I get more feedback felt through the ti handle although maybe I’m making that up. After getting the 17-4 and being blown away as ti is the first de razor that performs
as well for me as an SE razor. So of course I had to purchase the new ti version and can’t wait to compare them.

In vitro studies looking at SS and Titanium implants in the human body show no evidence of galvanic corrosion, so I think your razor handle and head will be fine unless you store it in seawater with a battery.

That's the first google I came up with. And no problem I won't be using a Ti handle with a SS head as I can't get the blades on the airline Smile

I have heads with handles combined for about two years no noticeable corrosion yet but that's at 3000ft.

Interesting that somebody did apparently pursue a study on the matter of SS and Ti interaction. In the interim as wait on blades response.

Anybody else care to opine on less irritation with Ti, or feel difference or weight impacts affecting shave? Really curious on this with somebody scientifically knowledgable or owner having 2 otherwise identical razor (heads anyway).

Maybe I should not comment but the only Ti I can comment on is the RR BB smooth with I have both and both feel the same to me.
