Were you paying attention? I used the Omega 86 (as shown in this Brush of the Day post) instead of the Fendrihan badger in the photo. This was because I later decided I wanted to try using exactly 1/8 teaspoon of the soap, and that Badger would have been too big.
Now I know that 1/8 teaspoon will get the job done (a BBS tonight), especially with a smaller brush, but I'd rather go with 1/4 teaspoon.
Why such precision? Easier to compare different soaps, and I'm less likely to end up with too much leftover soap in the bowl that didn't turn into lather.

Memo to self - gotta pour some of the AS into a plastic travel sprayer bottle. The glass bottle already fell into the sink during the photo shoot.

I don’t think I could use a little coffee cup size lather bowl.  Does the handle of your brush continually hit the sides?

That doesn't seem very small. I would wish for a rounder bottom, but widths and height seem fine.

For “ME” it’s about continually hitting the sides with my brush in the blue timeless, then once the lather begins to build its flowing over the top and well, all over.  I like to whip up dense lather, foam doesn’t cut it for me, I go Chef on my lathers, lol.  The Pereira gives a little more space with a handle. My $1.99 plastic salsa bowl was my lather bowl for a long time, the Pereira is a self-gifted luxury item that does what my salsa bowl did in half the time and it makes me happy
