Vintage Shaver
Seattle, WA
Thursday AM 2017-01-12

élan bowl, with electric mug warmer
Rooney 3/2 Faux Horn Finest (24mm/54mm)
Old Spice shaving soap (vintage)
Feather AS-D2/UFO Tornado
Wilkinson Light Brigade (4)
Barrister & Mann Reserve Spice aftershave sample

I actually didn't use the Old Spice cream shown because it started to smell kind of skunky to me and I tossed it out. The B&M aftershave, while not an exact match for the soap, does complement it well.

Shake Sharp with a vintage Blue for the beard, Schick C1 with a Plus Plat for the head shave. Two great razors.

The trusty clog pruf always performs how I need it to. Sliced off 4 days of growth in 2 easy passes that gave a BBS. Have a great day everyone.

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

Razor: Gillette Black Tip X 3 1952
Blade: Wilkinson Sword (5)
Brush: Orange & Black Handle Made in Switzerland, Boar (I think)
Soap: Route Route 66 Cavendish
Aftershave: 2x Iced Yin Yang

Took awhile to get this brush loaded, but it did a pretty good job once loaded. End with a DFS.

Close comfortable 3 passes with a touch up for a DFS. Restored the Ever Ready 100 T by replacing the knot, adding weight to the handle, and cleaning it up a little. Still need more work on the handle.

Looks like a refreshing shave Doug. What's your thoughts on Lucky Tiger?

Thanks Guy. I really like Lucky Tiger. It's a great way to end a shave without the burn of other aftershaves.
