Excellent shave today with a combination of phenomenal products to leave me with BBS and an excellent post shave feel! A&E did not disappoint with there new Spartacus shave soap! Lathered up excellent performed even better and left my face soft until the morning! Excellent overall experience and the scent was great as well. A copy of the famous creed Aventus cologne made the experience that much more enjoyable. Fresh edge on the 9/8 was indefinitely one of my better edges although a bit more on the aggressive side. Honed on an OZUKU Asagi lv 5+( meaning very hard)

Hemingway Accoutrements shaving cream
Weber PH/Stork Advoco Titanium

An excellent shave in my bathroom, A Clean, Well Lighted Place. The brush is a favorite, with less backbone and softer tips than some of the other Finests. This shaving cream is one of my few modern ones, and it makes wonderful lather. The razor head paradoxically has less friction but is less smooth than the ARC and DLC.

John, I see you have confirmed what I had noticed almost eight years ago. I still find the Weber DLC to be one of the smoothest shavers I have ever tried even though it has very pronounced 'friction'. Shy
