Very few changes from yesterday's shave to this evening's, yet enough changes to have a few conclusions drawn. First one, there's (for me, that is) no need for such a sharp blade in this razor. It takes advantage from less sharp blades (like the Astra SS) and the less aggressive edge seems to be gentler on my skin. I feel the Edwin Jagger works better with sharper blades, but this 37C is at its best with milder ones. Not that I ended up irritated, but I could spot three red dots on my second pass, that I had not seen while I had been using the Astras. So let's keep the yellow Gillettes for the EJ, from now on.

The other change is the brush. I have been confronting my Omega 31052 and the Semogue 1305 in successive shaves with the same soap, face and bowl lathering and I'm almost ready to reach my final conclusions in this particular "battle of the boars". I'll share it as soon as I'm done. Of course it's just an opinion, but as long as it's helpful to somebody, I'll be happy with that. Three passes and some touch-ups for a BBS outcome. Excellent shave.
