Razor: Colonial SS General
Blade: Feather Pro (1)
Brush: Wolf Whiskers Julie
Soap: Mike's Orange, Cedarwood, & Black Pepper
Post: Chatillon Lux Fourth & Pine

Fantastic shave with Mike's; slickness, lather density, and post shave are easily top tier. I've received my blade sampler pack from tryablade and intend to find a blade that works best for me. I've tried the Feather Pro Super and found it to be extremely harsh with too much blade feel. The Feather Pro felt much better; less blade feel and no irritation. I will test this blade out for another two shaves and then move on to another. I am looking forward to trying the Schick Proline; I'll save it for last Smile

Moss Anniversary Slate scuttle
Paladin Somerset Winston Churchill SE (28mm/55mm)
Acqua di Parma soft soap (current version)
Delta Echo Ink Edition Feather AS-D2/UFO Colibri
Polsilver Super Iridium (2)
Acqua di Genova 1853 aftershave

This was the second day of my comparison of original Acqua di Parma Colonia with modern Acqua di Parma soap, using the latter today. The soap is white and less translucent than the original. It lathered easily, producing rich, thick lather. The fragrance was significantly less bright and less complex than that of the original. This lather had a light cooling effect, which the original did not have yesterday. Cushion and glide were equivalent, as was the excellent skin moisturizing. So on initial use, the most notable difference was the fragrance. Tomorrow I will use the original version again.

RAZOR Darwin Hollow Ground Safety Razor.
BLADE As above. First two shaves using Course and Fine sides of strop were not very good. I then used a Norton 8,000K water hone and the fine side of built in strop. Easy, smooth.
BRUSH Fendrihan silver tip. It really gets loaded up easily.
SOAP Kaloderma Shaving Cream. Fast, rich lather. Pleasant mild scent.
BOWL Michal Yoresh Electric. Truly heart warming.
LOTION Aqua Velva Ice Blue. Cool.
SHAVE Perfect. Smooth, Close, Well lubricated, BBS at last.
SHAVER Me. Ecstatic and very smug. This is quite a machine.
