I decided to go with plate 3, and a Zorrik Stainless...Yeah, great shave, no drama, no nonsense, just a get the job done, BBS shave... just the way it should be! I couldn't ask for anything more...

New things to try!
This was my first shave with Myrsol Emulsion, Mickey Lee La Belle du Sud soap, and Ginger's Garden Aventus type aftershave. They all performed very well ME went on easy and it's light scent didn't interfere with the sweet woody scent of the soap, which provided plenty of thick lather for my Futur to mow down my whiskers with a Bolzano blade installed. The blade felt very smooth, but maybe not good enough to replace the much cheaper voskhod for me. The aftershave is loaded with glycerine, so it goes on feeling a little bit oily, but dries down quick. The scent is excellent - now my favorite version of this famous odor.
