SOTD: 11/7/2016 - "Tuning It Down"

Pre: Hot shower
Soap: Archaic Alchemy "Citrus Mint" in Captain's Choice Bowl
Brush: Semogue 620 Boar brush
Razor: Barbaros Razors & Rocnel Adjustable w/ Feather Hi-Stainless blade (1)
Post: Soap Commander "Courage" ASB & Barbasol "Brisk" splash

After an insanely poised shave yesterday, I decided to test how the Feather blades would work in the B&R. I generally don't get great shaves from Feathers since they're SO sharp. I dialed the gap all the way down on the B&R and enjoyed a lovely, smooth shave. It wasn't as efficient as it could have been, but definitely no irritation from the blade. I found myself dialing it up for my head in order to actually get anything. The Citrus Mint is certainly cold, but refreshing, and a great lather.
Be smooth and shave it up, everyone!

It's my Gillette NEW short comb, Will, and I cannot believe how much prices have gone up on these things in just the past five or six years. I believe I purchased mine on eBay for US$8.00 and now they seem to be going for about $25.00-$30.00 and some not even in as good condition as mine.

I'd bite someone's hand off at $25 to $30 for one. :-)
