Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap
Gillette Trac II
CVS/Personna
Hardright Anchorset (24mm, Frigate Class)
Stirling Iced Pineapple soap and AS
Stirling Glacial Unscented PSB

Today was the first time that I have used a cartridge razor in two and a half years. I must say that the shave went better then expected, funny how proper technique can improve the use of any tool. I recall from my cartridge days that when I was using a M3 or similar pivoting head cart that it always felt like I was dragging sand paper across my face. I didn't get that feeling with the Trac II, maybe it was because the head doesn't pivot or maybe it was just because my face was too frozen to feel it. I was mindful of using the razor with no pressure and did two passes for CCS. The shave was definitely not nearly as close as any other razor in my arsenal but its plenty good enough for a work day. I will note that the lube strip on the cart left a gloppy gooey slime on my face that I didn't much care for. So I will be removing the lube strip for any future endeavors with this razor. The star of the show was the Stirling Iced Pineapple. Man I love this soap. No lie, it is my absolute favorite soap, #1, may have to order a backup tub (or two). ITS THAT GOOD! Have a great day my friends!

Although they're not displayed in the photo, the Silver Blues remain my favourite blade. An affordable everyday luxury that provides awesome shaves. The Proraso splash is a new acquisition and it is just excellent.

Organism 46B soap, Moon and Stars badger brush, Edvin Neiström razor with barbers notch, Proraso green aftershave.

This Organism 46B soap has a weird, buttery/oaty scent, and I got no hint of bitter orange at all. Shave went well, two passes, with but one little cut in the second pass at the awkward angle. Super smooth neck under the chin - this blade works well when carefully wielded.

I love the SV. Everything about it is great.
On a side note, what do you use to edit your pictures. They look so professional.

Thank you very much. I use photoscape to edit my pics. Actually like the older version than their new one better. I also use another program as well but cant remember the name of it at the moment to do minor edit and backgrounds.
