A stellar shave this morning with some of my favorite gear that I don't use nearly often enough

Wilkinson Kompakt - might just be the best cartridge razor made. It sure is an awesome one though.
Panna Crema Vetiver. No idea why I don't use it more often as it's such an amazing soap.
Old vintage Vulfix/Marshall Fields brush. One silverip that I don't find too lacking in backbone..it is decadently soft and I love the handle

Some Floid Blue A/S rounded it all off very nicely.

That was probably the best lather I have whipped up with The Fat since #mitchellsmarch started. Thick, dense and creamy. The Chubby created and held gobs and gobs of creamy goodness from start to finish.

Mitchell's Wool Fat Soap
Gillette Fatboy F1
Simpson Chubby 2 Best
Personna 74 Blade (7)
Floïd Blue

Magnificent Nuavia/Amouage combination SharpSpine! When I described Nuavia Rossa as an Amouage style scent, Jubilation is the fragrance that I had in mind.

Glad you are enjoying the soap Smile.

Thanks NeoXerxes. It was the reports that Rossa was Amouage-like that got me to buy the Nuàvia set. Couldn't be happier!

Happy to hear it SharpSpine! I'd pair Rossa with Jubilation XXV or perhaps even something like Creed's Royal Oud, but my friend loves it with Interlude Man. Either way, I think it's an excellent soap that pairs very well with dry and woody compositions, especially ones that contain a bit of oud.

Working up excellent lather with Route 66 soap and JR-45 brush. The Cavendish shave soap is lightly spiced cedar wood mingles with notes of bergamot, bay and fir; nicely balanced with the slightly sweet, warm aroma of Cavendish cut and cured tobacco leaf. Good stuff.

Great pic! That Black Tip looks to be in perfect condition.  Is that one steel or aluminum?  Such a great, underrated shaver. I've got a '51 steel that I just love.
