Here's  the setup just before stepping into the shower:

The inside of the lather bowl is smeared with 1/4 teaspoon of the soap. (Note black enamelled snurdler v.2)
Red silicone pad is for scratch prevention, and maybe a bit of padding if I should ever drop a ceramic or glass bowl/mug.
The hot water softens the soap so that it turns into lots of really nice lather almost immediately, and fills the room with the scent of the soap. I always drain the sink and refill it with fresh hot water after the shower.
Results: what else but a BBS?

Friday Shave Cool Reserve by Barrister and Mann love it great scent and slickness. I can use this soap anytime of the day smells great and refreshing.
