On a dark and rainy Friday I was in the mood for something different. Something I don't often see used. When I saw it I knew it was the one, Hidden Goddess from Hendrix Classics and Company.

It's a sophisticated fruit type scent though it's really hard to pick out any one note. I only say fruit type because I know they're in there. Not because it actually smells like fruit. At least not to me. Really the best way I can describe the scent of this one is to say that it's a sweet gourmand dessert-type scent. It's a really good, unique scent that stands out from the crowd.

It has notes of bergamot blossom, golden amber, and sandalwood blended with whipped sugar and peach nectar. I told you it was unique.

The first three most prominent ingredients of the base are cocoa butter, kokum butter and illepe butter. I share this only to drive home the notion that this soap base is quite luxurious. It's slick and protective in all the right ways and is a pleasure to use.

The Aylsworth Drakkant is not only a beautiful tool but a very well-designed one. Every time I've used this razor I get an almost effortless bbs. The weight is good, the grip is good and the end results are great! I'm tellin' you, if you can afford one is these, you won't be disappointed.

After a three-pass pass shave and my face feeling smooth, I threw on some Pinaud Clubman Special Reserve aftershave. This is a favorite of mine by the way.

I can't fully express how good of a shave this was but at least I can say I tried.
