Last night’s setup:
• Mystic Water Soap Oak Pass (Raspberry Lemon)
• Stirling Soap Company synthetic 26 × 54 mm
• Gem Micromatic Flying Wing
• Personna Gem PTFE (5)
• Beaver WoodWright Captain’s Reserve

This was the first time I used Captain’s Reserve. The scent had a classic cologne component, which I wasn’t expecting, as I was awaiting a fairly light and natural scent. I’m hoping the scent will grow on me after more use.

Also, first time using Oak Pass (Raspberry Lemon), which I graciously received from WindsorCitrus through wyze0ne. It’s Mystic Water, so a great soap. The scent to me is initially rasperry (quite obviously), with the lemon adding significant brightness, and the scent of leather present in the background. I find the scent strength rather substantial, and this soap especially suited for warm months.

Not the best shave today, need more practice getting a good lather with the cream, and I don't think the Astra SP is the blade for me. On the plus side, the Tabac smells great.

Another excellent shave today. Turkish Bath will remind you of the bygone era of old-time barber shops. A masculine scent with a clean, sharp finish. Our take on combines the scent of aromatic spices, Merlot and orange zest. Everything came together for a very close to BBS.

Doug, the AlumiGoose 2 / Hempel combination looks great, and the Turkish Bath soap sounds delightful!
