Two firsts early this morning:
The Stirling Soap Co. 24mm 2-Band Badger Brush is a great value at $29.99USD+S&H.  Medium density. Soft tips. Nice backbone. Nice, heavy handle. (And, yes, Hector, wow did this brush bloom!)

Ballenclaugh Vanderpool Shaving Soap seems like a decent soap after one shave.  This soap smells like leather. As in a store full of new leather jackets.  It's a scent I will grab when I'm in the mood.  Performance was good, but I find it hard to judge on one usage.
