Mastro Livi Carbon Damascus. Again.

Mastro Livi Twisted Carbon Damascus, again. The smoothness of this blade is amazing and the feel it gives to the skin is both pleasing and round while delivering a very close shave. As for the shave brush, the Omega Professional 48 is - in my opinion - one of the best bristle brush around with a good compromise between stiffness and softness. The finishing touch was provided by Aqua Velva Ice Blue, a classic and among my favorite ones.

  • Pre-Shave: RazorGuy Pre-Shave Oil
  • Soap: Negozio Leggero Lavender and Hazelnut Oil
  • Brush: Omega Professional 48
  • Bowl: Chinese Bowl
  • Strop: Mastro Livi Travel Loom Strop and Hand Palm
  • Razor: Mastro Livi Double Damascus San Mai, 15/16 Full Hollow, Barber's Notch
  • Post-Shave: Alum Block
  • Post-Shave: Argan Oil
  • After Shave: Aqua Velva Ice Blue

SOTN

Razor: Muhle R41 with Voshkod [1]
Brush: Edwin Jagger Synthetic STFv2 XL
Soap: Eufros Tallow by Manuel, Fougere V1

I was unsure what soap to use today so I just pick one of my favourite soap to use, absolutely intoxicating scent and stellar performance. It won't be long till I purchase again from Manuel with Fougere V2 and three other soaps, I just love his creation.

Manuel's Tallow soap produces one of the most beautiful lather (appearance wise) I have ever seen, with the only rival being L&L Grooming Bison and the new CRSW, but performance I would have to say better than most of the artisan out there, though my other top performancer is not far apart.

Fantastic shave with one nick. I have been getting nick at the same area for past four shaves, I might have to avoid that area for the next few days to let it recover. Never happened before.
