What anenjoyable shaving experience this was. Right off the bat, I have to tell you that the Elysian Soap Shop Pineapple Ambrosia is just out of this world good. Ugh. Seriously! The quality of the soap and the scent are insanely good.

I had no problem whipping up a big bowl of luxurious, frothy, freakin' awesome pineapple ambrosia-smelling goodness. I think I'm falling in love with this soap. Lol.

The Occam's O.R.E.N. performed beautifully today. With its wide Artist Club blade and it's level 3 top plate attached, it just shaved my face without any hesitation or issue.

I did a solid four-pass shave but it was simply because I wanted to continue dancing with the scent of the soap. I could have stopped after three, or even two if I'm being honest.

Once the dance was over I reached for some Pinaud Lime Sec EdC aftershave to round out this wonderfully fruity engagement. It's just added that nice limey bit to the top of it all.

I couldn't be happier with how this shave turned out and wish you all the same with yours. With that said, take care my friends and enjoy your shaves.

Please describe the scent on this soap and aftershave.  As far as I am concerned, Gentleman's Nod is a top tier soap.  The several that I have are excellent.  I especially like Jackie No. 42.

I would place this scent somewhere in between a couple of fragrances from Tom Ford’s private collection - Ombré Leather 16 and Tuscan Leather with a warm Oud undertone.  I like that the tabac note is not too sweet and it complements the smokey leather accord very nicely. The aftershave matches the soap and creates an upscale olfactory experience. The scent is not overwhelming but I cannot say that it is faint earthier.
