What a wonderful shave today's was. I opted to use the amazing Fine Accoutrements Italian Citrus shaving soap along with the beautiful and manly Alpha Shaving Works Bandit razor in its prototype form. This combo tuned out to produce an outstanding shaving experience.
The soap was gifted to me by a good friend who had won it but was kind and generous and decided to pass the win my way. You know who you are. Love you brother!
In case you don't know, Italian Citrus is an homage to Acqua di Parma Colonia (1916). Boy, let me tell you this one smells really good! The top notes are lemon, sweet orange, and bergamot. Middle notes are lavender, rose, verbena, and rosemary. Followed by base notes of vetiver, sandalwood, and patchouli. Tell me this doesn't sound great?
The soap base is also very good. It easily whipped up into a big bowl of beautiful smelling lather that filled my bathroom with its scent. I was honestly impressed.
I did four passes with the Bandit but was near a dfs after only one pass. I simply carried on because I love using this razor so much. Coming in at 138 grams, it's no lightweight but the smoothness is enjoyable and the handle is a 10/10 on my book.
When all was said and done, I threw on some Pinaud Clubman Musk aftershave. It's not as common as some others but I thoroughly enjoy it.
Another really great shave was had. Thanks for reading and enjoy your shaves.
Prepare for mind control!
