Vintage Colgate Barber Shaving Soap
Lucky Tiger Aftershave and Face Tonic


This was the 1st use of the Colgate Barber Shaving Soap.  I bought it on the BST. (Thanks, churchilllafemme !)  I grated it into the Anchor Hocking glass bowl shown.  This soap produced a very nice creamy slick lather and did so very easily.  This was a wonderful shave!  I didn't scent the lather as I wanted to try the soap by itself.  Now, this is shaving soap and only soap, so the post shave was just squeaky clean.    The important part was the lather's efficacy during the shave, which was really good.   The Lucky Tiger provided for the post shave feel.  

The GEM Featherweight has been working very well for me.  This week has been my 1st try with this razor.  It feels fairly mild, but still very efficient.

Brush: WDC-6  Brass Handle Silvertip Premium
Soap: Route 66 Lavender Woods
Aftershave: Folsom & Co. Shambala

Another excellent shave tonight with these products. The heavy WDC-6 Brass Handled brush whipped up an amazing lather and applied it with vigor. The silent BV-3 removed the stubble in no time at all. Folsom & Co. Shambala was an excellent finish.
