Todays shave -

Blade - Heljestrand (ss 1904 eskilstuna)...the core matrix is well taken cared of and still rollin' lefty +2 something degrees from a regular belt(strop).....me was a lil seed when me grandfather told me about angles and letted me test them for results and today I'm still going a tad bit lefty for the same chin.....deba?
Brush - Simpson E3 manchurian(fluffy basterd but o'so functional)
Soap - pears original...yes this one was and is still a standard for glycerines...no need for comparisions even if it's far from the best yes
Aftershave - aqua di parma essenza
edt - dittos LA aqua

It doesn't matter how expensive your gear is you can still have a poor shave. Thankfully I finished off with the stunning Fougère Royal, so not all bad.

Excellent. This soap seems to be underappreciated. Like all the other classic tallow-based Floris soaps, it makes fantastic lather. But I suspect that its lemon-green fragrance isn't as popular as the more traditional cologne-type ones. It complements the aftershave very nicely.
