I'm glad you are enjoying Mike's, Kevin!  I enjoy many wonderful shaving soaps, but I know Mike's will always have a place in my rotation.  The performance is excellent and most of the scents are very enjoyable to me.  I may have a "couple" of Mike's Soaps around here.

Now it's time for me to thank you, kwsher!  I bought Chatillon Lux Colbeck on your suggestion.  I didn't need too much prodding, because I already have several of hawns offerings and know they are top notch.  Colbeck, though, just blows me away!  I think it's just great!  Now I'm wishing I would have followed kwsher lead and purchased two bottles.  

Hi Rob, I have to thank you again for the insight on Mike's - the line is a great addition to my soap library. Orange, Cedarwood and Black Pepper is on deck for later this weekend. Nice scents and of course the most important: solid performance.

Very happy that you are enjoying the Colbeck. Like you, I like the Chatillon Lux line as a whole but Colbeck has become my favorite!

Henri et Victoria Terre d'Henri another from Canada. Soap performs well, scent is a little too biased toward the cologne side for my taste but perhaps will grow on me with use.

Fine L'Orange Noir pairs well with the soap if that factors in.

Tobacco Thursday
Excellent shave today with this WSP combo and the Futur. I applied the PSO to my wet face after washing and waited a bit while I loaded my damp HIS brush. It took less soap than I thought to make yogurt goodness. Three drama free passes with my Futur on five and I'm feeling great. The balm provided a nice cool on a hot day.

1st time with Nanny's Traditional Moroccan Sands.. thick, slick, with plenty of cushion, but maybe not quite as protective as my go to soaps, or maybe I was a little gung ho with the iKon, after the super smooth shaves of the Hone...either way, I'm looking forward to using Nanny's again. BBS, and feeling good.
