2017 Favorite
Unconditional Surrender was my favorite scent find for me 2017. A very generous friend helped my acquire the excellent soap as well. I've never been disappointed with this combination. Tabac holds a special place in my heart, but US is certainly the best scent I came across last year. There were many great ones, but this one just captured my imagination. The Rockwell 6s was a razor revelation for me, eclipsing the Merkur Futur in every way.

Thanks Navarrsky Although I'm only 75 shaves into my first consecutive 100 shaves with a straight razor, I have to say that the Max Sprecher razors are my favorites. Not only are they incredible shavers, but it feels like I'm shaving with a work of art.

I'm starting this year the way I ended it, but with a twist. This year I'm going 3017. I'm going to be using one soap until it's gone before moving on to the next. The reason for this is I need to save money and one way to do that is by not buying anymore. Another reason is that I simply need the space. The only way I'll be getting anything is if it's gifted or won or something. If I have matching sets, I'll use those until they're gone. Exceptions are readily available splashes like Clubman, Old Spice, etc. I'm starting by going through my samples then to the tubs. This one is the first to go. It's going to be an interesting year.
