I just couldn't wait. After receiving my order the other day, uniting my EdP with its soap and aftershave friends, I just could resist using them right away. So here we go...
It's been I don't know how long since I've used an Artist Club razor. So, I thought why not today, right? I decided to pull out my special 24k gold dipped O.R.E.N. to go alongside this beautiful gold lid jar of Pine and Pepper from Elysian Soap Shop.
Ugh, is this stuff good. I swear I'm so addicted to this scent. Its notes are grey pine, juniper, peppermint, black pepper, lavender, geranium, earthy vetiver, and a hint of vanilla. Let me tell you though. It has this very green, fresh face to it from the pine and juniper but also has this sultry quality about it. I think it's from the pepper, geranium, and vetiver. It's just so good though! Definitely refreshing and manly, I have to say.
I did a three-pass shave really enjoying reacquainting myself with the O.R.E.N., taking in the scent of the soap along the way. I earned and easy, smooth sailing bbs and then went for the matching aftershave to round things out.
The post shave feel was great! The combination of grass fed beef tallow, clay and silk in the soap, plus the aftershave with its witch hazel, aloe, hyaluronic acid, marshmallow root and almond oil ingredients, led to an outstanding feel.
I topped this shave off with the matching EdP and was happy to say the least.
There you have it. Another fantastic shave. Take care my friends and enjoy your shaves.
