Had an excellent 3 pass shave for my 4th go around with the Bunny. WTG, then XTG in both directions and only WTG on the neck. It was a DFS for sure with no irritation. Alum was silent for over a small mole that I mowed over. It was the first bunny shave where the chin and jaw were not irritated, still not very close there but I call this a win. I think what I have the biggest trouble with the Bunny is maintaining the proper angle while shaving the chin in a EtoW or WtoE manner or the jawline with vertical strokes. But for this shave I finally got the hang of it. I'll be able to speak more on pros and cons after a couple more shaves.

This Viking Soap is continuing to impress me in terms of performance. Very slick and yogurt lather. The only negative i can think of is that it could use a stronger scent, but that is personal preference. The performance is top notch

Today was the Slant's debut and my first impression with this razor was how mild it is. Even compared with the EJ89, it amazed me how effective and smooth it is. It took a bit finding the angle for it to cut my whiskers cleanly in the area below the jaw, but when I eventually did so it took two passes to leave a BBS result. In fact, this photo corresponds to yesterday's shave, and today there isn't too much to be shaved, actually. Yesterday's conditions were hard for all this shaving gear, as I had been shaving five days in a row (who would have said so in the dark and past multiblade times...) and my skin was a bit tired, but today it's feeling very well. Anyway, I'm not shaving today and will allow some extra growth for the Slant to be a bit busier tomorrow, so we can get acquainted quickly.

The Plisson is synthetic, but it does retain water. I shook it twice after soaking, instead of three times as it's usual, and the extra water in the fibres gave me some extra work lathering up until I got the right density, even though I had been generous with the soap loading. As a result, I had enough lather for a three pass shave, confort, and I could have shaved a couple of hipsters, had I been told to do so.

By the way. Martin de Candre is worth it. I got this sample and another one of its "Classic" scent, and I have quite clear in my mind that I will order this soap, soon. Little soap goes a long way and its performance is stellar. Difficult to believe that a soap with so little ingredients works this well, but it does, indeed.

The Route 66 Ghost Town whipped into a slick rich lather in no time. Ghost Town shaving soap has a warm base of spiced woods with subtle hints of leather and powdery vanilla. Accented beautifully with a heart of floral ylang and soft lavender, all brightened with sparkling citrus top notes. Good news it is also on sale for only $12.99. Great soap at an amazing price.

Sorry, yes, Chris (Number Six) I was just very impressed with how striking the photo was, and the care that was taken with it. Anyway, thanks for sharing that!

whiteboy_cannon I'm going to have to use the MWF a few more times to get a feel for it. I didn't find it as hard to lather as I've read it is. Loaded the brush on the soap in the ceramic bowl in which the MWF came, then right on to the face. I had to add a little water, as it's extremely dry out here.

Good lather, good feel, good slickness, good all around, except that the post shave was just ok. Now, if I hadn't just discovered B&M, I might be raving about it!
